Q

Our guitar curriculum covers chords, strumming, fingerpicking, scales, music theory, and songwriting. Whether you play acoustic or electric, lessons are tailored to your goals—from playing your first song to improvising and writing original music.

Q

Is guitar a good instrument for neurodivergent learners?

Yes. Guitar offers tactile feedback, structured patterns, and visual chord shapes that many neurodivergent students find engaging. At ND Music Academy, we adapt every lesson to each student’s sensory and learning preferences.

Q

Do I need my own guitar to start lessons?

Not for your first lesson—we’ll bring a guitar so you can get started right away. After that, we’ll help you figure out the right acoustic or electric guitar for your size, budget, and playing style.

Q

Can I learn both acoustic and electric guitar?

Absolutely. The fundamentals are similar, but the approach is generally different. On electric we focus more on melodic playing and solo ideas, while acoustic leans toward harmony, chords, and strumming. Many of our students explore both.
