No. We teach on a portable electronic drum pad, which is great for building technique, coordination, and rudiments. A practice pad at home is an affordable way to keep progressing between lessons, and we can help you choose one.
Most children can start drum lessons around age 6 or 7, once they have the coordination to hold sticks comfortably. We assess each student individually and adjust the lesson approach for younger players.
Yes. We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced drum instruction in Sherman Oaks, serving all of Los Angeles. No prior experience is needed to start. New students receive 50% off their first 3 lessons.
